On 6^th. March 2019, Vice President Dai Shiming and her three-member delegation visited China General Nuclear Power Corporation (CGNPC) which is a large state-owned corporation headquartered in Shenzhen. Li Weigang, Deputy General Manager of CGNPC, together with Yuan Jinyong, Director Assistant of CGNPC, received MS Dai and her delegation. The two parties exchanged ideas extensively and reached a preliminary intention on the internship and employment of Namibian students, as well as the cooperation on the establishment of a Luban (Engineering) Academy in Namibia. The directors of Swakop CGNPC also participated in the discussion through video.

It is reported that Swakop CGNPC is the flagship project of China's investment in Africa. The cooperation between NTVU and CGNPC will greatly promote the cultivation of the Namibian students in NTVU, which will immensely enhance the ability of NTVU to serve the “One Belt, One Road” enterprises. (Photos by Liu Wansheng; Edited by Huang Yin)
