Recently, three students from School of Economics and Mechanical Engineering in NTVU were admitted by Athlone Institute of Technology in Ireland to study for master's degree. NTVU held an admission issuing ceremony for them. It was presided over by Liu Wansheng, dean from school of international cooperative & education. Vice president Dai Shiming, heads of relevant schools and student representatives attended the ceremony.

Together with the representative from AIT, vice president Dai jointly issued the admission letter, and congratulated the students for their achievements. She expressed good wish for better cooperation between the two universities. Li Xu, student from school of economics and management, whose father made a speech, and expressed his gratitude to the leaders and teachers of the two universities.

Finally, Meng Jing, director of Asia Pacific from AIT, gave a lecture on studying abroad, and welcome more students from NTVU to AIT.

It is learned that these three students received conditional admission from AIT after preliminary examination, language test and interview assessment at the beginning of last year. After intensive training in English, they passed the IELTS test and obtained official admission letter. They will go to Ireland for a two to three year postgraduate study in September this year.
