Since the beginning of April, 2016 class Namibian students have successively begun their internship under the arrangement of NTVU after they had completed the theoretical study in school. They have participated in the production process and have completed the required production tasks.

They have applied professional knowledge and skills comprehensively in their two months of on-the-job internships, hence gained perceptual knowledge, mastered practical skills, enhanced job responsibility, and improved the ability of communication and coordination with the outside world. During their internships, international students were not afraid of hardships and tiredness, and humbly learned from the company's experienced technicians, thus won high praise from internship companies.

NTVU attaches great importance to the internship of international students. The Academic Affairs Office, together with relevant departments organized internship introduction meeting and safety meeting etc. to explain the internship requirements to them, and properly arranged internship guidance, performance assessment, and living support with relevant companies to guarantee internship effect.

Senior international students participating in the internship are all from the “Namibian President’s Revitalization Program”. Through nearly three years of study in NTVU, they not only mastered the relevant professional skills to serve their country, but also experienced the profound traditional cultural charm of China. They said that they will strive to be the heralds to deepen Sino-Africa communication and enhance Sino-Africa friendship for the "Belt and Road", no matter continuing education or starting working after graduation from NTVU.
