On April 17, President Ma Chengrong, together with the heads in SICE and the Development Planning Office, went for an investigation in Touchroad Group in Shanghai. The team was warmly welcomed by Mr. Ho Liehui, Chairman of Touchroad.

At the meeting, the team introduced the development of NTVU international cooperative education. Chairman Ho gave an overview of the "special economic zone" the group is building in Djibouti, the local talent demand in Djibouti and the group’s transformation of African business in Djibouti into vocational education. The two sides have conducted in-depth discussions on school-enterprise cooperation, international student training, local talent training in Africa (Djibouti) etc.  Both sides have also reached strategic cooperative intention on international student training and jointly building the road to Djibouti -- African Skill Training Center of Nantong Vocational University.

The Touchroad Group (Shanghai) is a multinational corporation integrating international trade, investment, cultural exchange, tourism, creative industry park development, and special economic zone construction. With a focus on Africa, the group has established business ties with more than 20 African countries as well as European and American countries. The cooperation between our school and the group will certainly contribute to the development of both sides.
