On October 14 to 17, a delegation from our university headed by Huang Yong, dean of Haimen college visited Institute of Informatics and Business Darmajaya, Indonesia

On behalf of the teachers and students of the school, Vice President Rosadie extended a warm welcome to the delegation, and introduced to the delegation the school's professional construction, curriculum construction and internationalization of the school. He said that as both developing countries, the two universities share the same goals and responsibilities, and their cooperation in the past four years has achieved important results. He hoped that the two sides will further deepen mutual trust, broaden cooperation areas and upgrade cooperation level so as to make greater contributions to the economic and social development of the two countries. Huang Yong, head of the delegation, delivered a speech on behalf of the school and conveyed greetings from Qiang Yi, party secretary of the school, and Ma Chengrong, principal of the school. He said that since the two universities started cooperation in 2015, through joint efforts, they have set up overseas centers in each other and sent teachers and students to visit each other continuously, thus forming a profound friendship. He emphasized that Nantong Vocational University insists on opening its school to the world and always takes internationalization as an important strategy for its development. Darmajaya Institute of Information and Business is the most important partner for the school to carry out international cooperation in running school. He hoped that the delegation's visit would further build consensus on development, further deepen bilateral cooperation and promote common development.

During the visit, the two sides had further in-depth exchanges and reached a wide range of cooperation intentions. The two sides plan to cooperate in undergraduate education for international students, so that more Indonesian students will have the opportunity to study and live in China and cultivate ambassadors of Friendship between China and India with an international perspective. Discuss to upgrade "China center in Indonesia" to Luban workshop to build a talent training base that serves "One Belt And One Road" and promotes local economic and social development; Carry out multi-dimensional, high-frequency and in-depth teacher-student exchange: realize all-round professional teaching exchange by classroom in the air, and realize cultural and technical skills education experience of both sides by short-term visits of students and teachers; By the international cooperation scientific research project, seeks the two schools teacher common development.

During his visit to Indonesia, Ge Bin, a member of the delegation, delivered an academic report entitled "Application of intelligent electronic products in the field of smart home", which brought cutting-edge technology feast to the teachers and students of Institute of Informatics and Business Darmajaya, and triggered deep thinking and heated discussion on the Technology of Internet of Things.

In 2015, our school signed a sister-school agreement with Institute of Informatics and Business Darmajaya in Indonesia. In 2016, our school opened "Darmajaya -- Nantong Vocational University China Center" in this school. Since 2016, both sides have carried out regular exchanges of visits between students and teachers, and our school has regularly sent teachers to "Darmajaya-Nantong Vocational University China Center" to teach Chinese culture, primary Chinese and other courses to spread Chinese culture.
